About The Position
WECTEC Staffing Services, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support the Gas Capital Portfolio. This role focuses on project financials, cost analysis, and project closeout activities, ensuring capital projects are tracked, compliant, and closed within SAP. The position is hybrid, with onsite work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
Requirements
- Hands-on SAP experience (required) — project financials, cost tracking, or closeouts
- Experience in project controls, project coordination, financial analysis, or capital project support
- Analyze project costs, identify variances, and interpret financial data
- Understanding of project lifecycle and operations
Responsibilities
- Review project costs vs. budgets/forecasts; investigate and document variances
- Manage project closeouts in SAP and ensure SOX compliance
- Support project controls processes, including WBS, cost tracking, scheduling, and reporting
- Develop reports (Cost Reports, CPI/SPI, variance tracking)
- Perform data validation and QA/QC on project financials, materials, and closeouts
- Partner with project teams and team members to gather data, resolve issues, and communicate updates
- Be an important SAP user supporting project setup, tracking, and system improvements
