Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in one of the above or related fields.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in one or more of the following or related fields: Cost analytics, finance, program management, project management, accounting, or operations.
Experience working with cost tracking analysis, forecasting, budgets, and accounting principles is a must.
Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and ability to interact with stakeholders positively and collaboratively.
Demonstrate a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining both design and construction schedules on multi-million-dollar infrastructure programs.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 3 years in a management and/or business development /sales capacity is preferred

Responsibilities

Execution of Project Controls core programs; engineering, cost estimating, cost analysis/control, and planning in accordance with applicable Project Controls Department
Identifies, analyzes, and provides innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling problems
Prepares the Project Controls Plan for assigned project/program
Supports project/program organizational and administrative activities
Plans staffing needs for assigned projects
Participates in the development and training of assigned personnel and in the implementation of on-the-job and classroom training programs
Conducts personnel performance reviews and career counseling
Directs project control activities
Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems
Support Project Managers with the monthly accrual process, including submittal of required accrual information to the NY Electric Business and other stakeholder groups.
