Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in one of the above or related fields.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in one or more of the following or related fields: Cost analytics, finance, program management, project management, accounting, or operations.
  • Experience working with cost tracking analysis, forecasting, budgets, and accounting principles is a must.
  • Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and ability to interact with stakeholders positively and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrate a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining both design and construction schedules on multi-million-dollar infrastructure programs.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 3 years in a management and/or business development /sales capacity is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execution of Project Controls core programs; engineering, cost estimating, cost analysis/control, and planning in accordance with applicable Project Controls Department
  • Identifies, analyzes, and provides innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling problems
  • Prepares the Project Controls Plan for assigned project/program
  • Supports project/program organizational and administrative activities
  • Plans staffing needs for assigned projects
  • Participates in the development and training of assigned personnel and in the implementation of on-the-job and classroom training programs
  • Conducts personnel performance reviews and career counseling
  • Directs project control activities
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems
  • Support Project Managers with the monthly accrual process, including submittal of required accrual information to the NY Electric Business and other stakeholder groups.
