This role is situated within the capital program at a single LACCD campus, reporting to the College Project Director and coordinating with the PMO. The primary responsibility is to manage the cost aspect of projects funded by multiple bond and funding sources. Daily tasks involve reconciliation, forecasting, and maintaining financial data accuracy to support leadership decision-making. The role requires extensive use of Proliance and Deltek Costpoint for budget creation and validation, processing change orders, task order requests, PBAs, and contract amendments, as well as performing month-end reconciliation. A key function is identifying, explaining, and recommending corrections for cost variances before they escalate to program-level issues. This is a critical controls position within a public education construction program, distinct from a back-office accounting role. The analyst will work closely with project teams and the scheduling group, with their forecasts directly impacting project scope and timelines.
