About The Position

Incumbent supports the Company and the Corporate Communication Lead in all internal and external communication and customer facing efforts to ensure consistent brand voice and effective stakeholder engagement. This role works directly for the Corporate Communication Lead and collaborates with staff from various departments, as well as internal and external stakeholders and vendors.

Requirements

• Must be working towards a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., English, Marketing/Communications, Advertising or public Relations.)
• Graphic Design literate (Adobe Programs)
• Understanding of the basic principles of communications, public relations and/or marketing.
• Must be computer literate (working knowledge of Microsoft Office)
• Ability to establish and maintain effective oral and written communications.
• Must possess the ability to thrive in high pressure situations
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Comfortable with media relations, general communication, interpersonal skills and multimedia
• Strong time management skills

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks safely, complies with all internal and external safety requirements, supports ITRCC’s safety culture, attends all safety training, and completes all compliance trainings as required by ITRCC.
• Upholds ITRCC’s core values: Community, Actions, Reliability, Excellence and Safety (CARES).
• Assist in writing, editing and sending out member communications
• Possible projects with social media, research, writing and others as assigned.
• Maintains and updates Company web-site and social media pages.
• Support a variety of HUB department functions, providing opportunities to develop skills in Communications, Human Resources, Customer Service, and Environmental programs.
• Other related duties as assigned.
