About The Position
Maxson Engineering is seeking a disciplined, technical problem solver for the Project BIM Lead role. The role involves developing and delivering accurate 3D/BIM models and 2D contract drawings for sophisticated government and private-sector projects, including aerospace, biopharma, and mission critical facilities. Requirements
- Disciplined, technical problem solver with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Preference for an environment with clear expectations, established standards, and decisions supported by reliable information.
- Confidence in verifying details, reducing risk through proven processes, and delivering complete, coordinated, and correct work.
- Ability to work with a clear focus, a systematic workflow, and accountability.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
Responsibilities
- Set up, organize, and maintain project models and drawing files in accordance with established procedures.
- Facilitate collision prevention and model coordination in Revit to support accurate, constructible design solutions.
- Apply and maintain design, drafting, and BIM standards across current platforms, including Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
- Reference past projects, standards, and documented lessons learned to encourage consistent deliverables and continuous improvement.
- Develop and strengthen BIM, design, drafting, and modeling skills while supporting dependable project execution.
