About The Position
Fuyao Automotive North America Incorporated (FANA) is seeking an In Process Quality Control (IPQC) professional to ensure that produced parts meet quality specifications and to monitor part quality on the production floor. FANA is a glass manufacturer for the North American automotive market, supplying major manufacturers like GM, Honda, Chrysler, Kia, BMW, and Hyundai. The parent company, Fuyao Glass Industry Group Co. Ltd. (FYG), is a global leader in automotive and industrial glass manufacturing.
Requirements
- Must be familiar with ISO/TS 16949

- Must be 18 years or older
- Two years’ Automotive Quality experience.
Nice To Haves
- A High School Diploma and 3 years of automotive Quality experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform the First Piece Approval Process with Team Leads and Technicians to ensure parts conform to standards.
- Monitor the quality of parts on the line and ensure parts meet standards by performing sample audits on the first and last pieces.
- Check the primer path and primer quality on all lines.
- Perform Daily Process Audits online to ensure processes are being followed.
- Provide support in training GP12 in job duties and work instructions.
- Be responsible for assigned programs during Dock Audit.
- Assist with containments and proper disposition of non-conforming material found during Containment.
- Review and sign off on production scrap produced by the shift.
- Alert all Departments of issues found on the Production Floor and Shipping Dock.
- Send out daily reports to document and escalate any findings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by IPQE and IPQC LEAD.
