About The Position

The Project Assistant role is the entry point into our DRE processing team. You'll work alongside Project Managers on active subdivision filings, learning the regulatory framework from the inside while taking ownership of the documentation, research, and coordination that keeps projects moving. Every senior person on our team (Project Managers, Reserve Analysts, Department Managers) started in this role. We hire this position to grow into the next one.

  • Comfortable with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to write a clean email and pick up the phone without GPT or rehearsing what you're going to say.
  • Early enough in your career to want to learn this field from the ground up, and far enough along that you don't need someone to tell you to follow up on an open item.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfort navigating online databases and search tools.

  • Own project documentation. Ensure our filing systems (physical and digital) are accurate, current, and accessible because you keep them that way.
  • Manage project timelines: maintain master inventory logs, track multiple deadlines, and coordinate reviews and follow-ups.
  • Review technical documents, like maps, legal descriptions, development plans for compliance.
