About The Position

MHTN Architects is seeking a Project Architect to join its collaborative, multidisciplinary design studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. The opportunity is suited to licensed architects and experienced architectural professionals pursuing or interested in pursuing licensure, typically with approximately six or more years of architectural experience and a foundation in project delivery, documentation, technical coordination, and Revit. The Project Architect contributes throughout project delivery, from design and documentation through consultant coordination and construction-phase services. The role leads defined portions of larger projects, works directly with clients, supports multidisciplinary consultant coordination, and collaborates with Project Managers, Principals, and other project team members. The firm works across a diverse range of project types and market sectors. This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Salt Lake City. MHTN offers a flexible hybrid schedule, with employees able to work remotely up to two days per week. Because the position involves in-person project responsibilities, collaboration, client engagement, and professional-development opportunities, long-term remote work is typically not feasible. The position may require frequent local travel during the normal workday and occasional overnight travel. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate. MHTN supports professional growth through continuing education, mentorship, licensure support, and opportunities to contribute throughout project delivery. The firm is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion and belonging.
