About The Position

The Project Architect is responsible for producing high-quality construction documents according to PBK standards and participates in all project phases: Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. The role reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the performance of the production team working under the Project Architect. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Architect helps ensure timely project completion within budget constraints and in accordance with PBK’s quality and client service standards.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Architect in the state of residence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Revit.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Nice To Haves

• Five or more years of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the production of construction documents and specifications in compliance with PBK standards.
• Organize and direct architectural and/or engineering teams to execute work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner.
• Ensure projects meet client-set budget goals and schedules.
• Coordinate with government agencies and utility companies, and resolve plan-check and approval issues with agencies.
• Apply knowledge of building codes and ensure project compliance.
• Direct, organize, and mentor junior staff, overseeing their assignments.
• Support the Project Manager, Production Director, and/or Client Executive in supervising project staff.
• Establish the budget, task schedule, and other work-plan components with the Project Manager.
• Work with the Project Manager to establish the project budget and schedule.
