About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Project Analyst I / Executive Assistant to join our team in Durham, NC. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days in the Durham NC office, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible. The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to a Senior Vice President (SVP) and their organization. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant acts as a trusted partner, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, effective communication, and coordination across teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 3 or more years’ experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (e.g., Webex)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 or more years’ experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Experience with expense management and procurement systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the SVP’s calendar, scheduling and coordinating meetings and events
  • Monitor SVP’s inbox and prioritize communications, highlighting critical items requiring attention
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture minutes, and track follow-up action items
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports, including SVP expenses and P-card statements
  • Code invoices, obtain approvals, and submit to Accounts Payable for processing
  • Obtain approvals for contracts and other business-related documentation, including Third Party Risk Assessments
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including room reservations and logistics in Outlook
  • Arrange catering and ensure meeting rooms are clean, prepared, and properly set up
  • Set up conference calls and virtual meetings using Webex or similar platforms
  • Coordinate guest access, including setting up logins for external attendees and notifying executive support teams
  • Greet and escort visitors and vendors, ensuring a professional and seamless experience
  • Coordinate and assist with travel arrangements for the SVP and team members
  • Manage travel approvals for direct reports under the SVP
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including equipment setup, phone provisioning, and workspace readiness
  • Track and obtain approvals for new hire paperwork
  • Request and prepare office seating, including staging cubicles and offices
  • Update and maintain office floor plans (e.g., Koury Center, DPK Building)
  • Order, receive, and distribute office supplies and equipment through systems such as PeopleSoft
  • Manage return and disposal (RMA) of unused equipment
  • Distribute incoming mail, packages, and supplies to employees
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and support needs
  • Provide backup support for other Executive Assistants as needed
  • Participate in bi-weekly administrative meetings
  • Support cross-functional coordination across the SVP’s organization
