About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Project Administrator to join our team! This role will collaborate with multiple departmental, divisional, vendor/external partners, and corporate teams, up to the SVP level, using broad business, healthcare industry, and LabCorp business knowledge, along with influence, discernment, and decision-making skills to frame a project's objectives, scope, and ongoing management. The Project Administrator will lead single, program, and enterprise projects of various complexities and scales, including strategic initiatives, vendor evaluations and implementations, systems and technology implementations, and government/payer mandates. This role manages the day-to-day aspects of projects, typically cross-functional initiatives impacting Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and potentially other departments. Responsibilities include managing project teams, tasks, milestones, deliverables, communication, and escalations up to the SVP level across multiple business units. The position requires ownership of senior-level communication artifacts such as project status reports, program dashboards, risk/decision summaries, and steering committee materials. The Project Administrator will work closely with business owners and stakeholders to achieve project objectives, acting as an advisor and consultant. They will facilitate meetings, workshops, and work sessions with employees at all organizational levels, including SVPs, to drive project progress. This role involves addressing and resolving shortfalls with project plan deliverables, ensuring appropriate identification of root causes of project issues through data analysis, financial impact assessment, and coordinating corrective actions. The Project Administrator will create and establish meaningful reporting and communication tools, prepare and present findings to Sr. Leadership with recommendations, risks, mitigation, and action plans, and work with significant autonomy requiring only casual supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of project management experience or Associates degree with 7 years project management experience
  • Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple departmental, divisional, vendor/external partners, and corporate teams, up to the SVP level, using broad business, healthcare industry and LabCorp business knowledge, along with influence, discernment and decision-making skills in order to frame a project's objectives, scope and ongoing management of the project.
  • Lead single, program, and enterprise projects with various complexities and scale; manage various types of projects such as strategic initiatives, vendor evaluations and implementations, systems and technology implementations, government/payer mandates, regulatory, etc.
  • Manage the day-to-day aspects of a project; typically, a cross-functional project impacting multiple areas in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and, at times, departments outside of RCM.
  • Manage the project team, tasks, milestones/deliverables and communication, including escalations up to the SVP level, in multiple business units.
  • Own creation of senior-level communication artifacts, including project status reports, program dashboards, risk/decision summaries, and steering committee materials.
  • Work closely with business owners and stakeholders to achieve the objectives and goals of the project and act as an advisor and consultant to the business unit as it relates to the project.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops and work sessions with employees at all levels of the organization, including SVPs, to drive the project's progress.
  • Address and work to resolve any shortfalls with project plan deliverables.
  • Ensure appropriate identification of root causes of project issues through effective use of data analysis tools and techniques, financial impacts, and coordinate corrective actions for project plan and project implementation issues.
  • Create and establish meaningful reporting and communication tools surrounding key initiatives that support a project's progress.
  • Prepare and present findings to Sr. Leadership, up to the SVP level, with recommendations, risks, mitigation and action plans.
  • Work with significant autonomy and require only casual supervision.
