About The Position

As a member of the Administration team, the successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and the broader project team to ensure that all administrative aspects of assigned projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner. This role is essential in supporting field operations and contributing to the effective execution of project activities. This position is based in Timmins, Ontario. Camp accommodations are provided, including lodging and meals, along with Living Out Allowance (LOA). The role follows a 4-day work schedule, 10 hours per day, and supports the refurbishment of hydroelectric generating stations throughout Northern Ontario.

Requirements

  • Able to demonstrate a high attention to detail
  • Motivated and confident
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate level computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Able to demonstrate logical problem-solving skills to independently find solutions
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong time management skills, and ability to prioritize a broad range of time sensitive tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the construction industry considered an asset
  • Experience with Viewpoint Accounting System would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Distribute invoices to Admin team daily
  • Process cheques received from our controllers department and distribute as required
  • Process expense reports as they are received to verify and ensure accuracy
  • Correspond with suppliers and subcontractors as required
  • Provide other administrative support as required
  • Prepare subcontracts and subcontract documents
  • Maintain subcontractor documents to ensure all are up to date and valid
  • Process supplier and subcontractor invoices for payment
  • Assist sites with required documents for billings and client requirements
  • Other duties as required, including vacation coverage for other Administration staff
