About The Position

Flippo Construction Company, Inc. (FCCI) is looking for a reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Project Accountant to join our growing team. If you have construction accounting experience and enjoy being part of a collaborative team where your work directly supports successful projects, we'd love to hear from you. As a Project Accountant, you'll play an important role in supporting our projects from startup through completion. You'll work closely with project teams and management, helping ensure accurate job costing, timely subcontractor payments, and smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of construction accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with job costing
• Experience processing subcontractor invoicing and payments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with job cost accounting software
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with team members and management at all levels
• A dependable, proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Viewpoint, HeavyJob, and/or Access is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting activities, including job costing and project financial reporting
• Process and manage subcontractor invoices and payments
• Assist with project startup and setup
• Work collaboratively with project teams and all levels of management
• Participate in weekly progress meetings and project turnover meetings
• Help identify and resolve accounting and project-related issues
• Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
