Progressive Care Unit Nurse Part Time Nights
About The Position
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 32-bed intermediate level of care unit that bridges the gap between inpatient units and critical care units. While the unit specializes in cardiovascular care, nurses will encounter a variety of diagnoses, including CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, and sepsis. Nurses work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent care for a high acuity-based population. The PCU is an ideal environment for nurses to cultivate and expand their assessment skills while managing multiple drips and specialized procedures. New Graduate RNs are welcome.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience required to hold a PRN position.

Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
- Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
