This role provides program support for DoD ammunition/munition production programs. The Program Manager will collaborate across departments to manage projects/programs from initiation through completion, ensuring financial revenue, operating efficiency, and strategic goals are met, along with regulatory requirements. They will keep stakeholders informed of project/program developments throughout the full program life cycle. Candidates applying for Program Manager II and Program Manager III opportunities will be considered for either level based on their qualifications, experience, interview assessment, and Total Rewards evaluations.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Business degree preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certifications.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
  • Professional contracting certifications at the state or national levels.
  • Working knowledge of munitions: associated platforms, strategic and tactical systems, and military munitions/platform interface requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Has P&L responsibilities for a specific program.
  • Implements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programs.
  • Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers.
  • Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance.
  • Promotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilization.
  • Supervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work is completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics.
  • Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.
  • Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.
