About The Position

This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Programs Manager II is responsible for the direction and supervision of Background Investigators I, II, and III's in their assigned duties. This role manages staff to maintain accurate and timely determinations of criminal history records, through the use of critical thinking skills and an understanding of policy and law. The position fosters a positive working environment and maintains excellent customer service. The Manager works closely with Child Care Services staff to maintain a system of quality improvement. This role is responsible for supervision of staff completion of state-wide background checks for Child Care and for overseeing the creation of policy, training, and improvement of processes.

Requirements

Master’s degree and one year of professional experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional level experience for each year of the required education.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must maintain required car insurance.
