About The Position

Under direction, performs professional work serving as liaison between the State office in the delivery of social services & health programs that actively provides statewide service and local sub-agencies or departments within an assigned geographical area to advise local personnel and to evaluate multi-function human services or resource programs. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to communicate utilizing different styles of communication to present to diverse audiences. Ability to consider the impacts of the work and perspectives of multiple communities in technical analysis and outcome of a decision-making process.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation.
  • OR an equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
  • Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must maintain required car insurance.
