About The Position

McWane Ductile New Jersey is seeking a Programmer to design, implement, and maintain software solutions that optimize foundry operations. Based onsite at the company’s Phillipsburg, New Jersey facility, the Programmer will work with cross-functional teams to improve technology solutions, support operational excellence, and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. The position includes designing Power BI reports for senior management, developing and maintaining software applications, optimizing SQL databases, and supporting collaboration and code integrity through Git.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in programming or a related field.
Proven experience with Power BI/Power Platform, Delphi, SQL, and Git.
Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Suite.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical.

Responsibilities

Design and implement user-friendly Power BI reports for senior management.
Write efficient, maintainable, well-documented code that follows established standards and guidelines.
Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues promptly.
Develop robust and scalable software applications tailored to foundry operations.
Manage and optimize SQL databases to ensure data integrity, reliability, and efficient retrieval.
Implement and maintain version control using Git.
Collaborate with engineers, operations teams, and IT professionals to understand requirements and develop solutions.
Troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
