About The Position

McWane Ductile New Jersey is hiring a Programmer to design, implement, and maintain software solutions that optimize foundry operations. Based onsite at the company’s Phillipsburg, New Jersey facility, the role works with cross-functional teams to improve technology solutions, support operational excellence, and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. The Programmer develops software applications and Power BI reports, maintains SQL databases, addresses software defects and performance issues, and uses Git for version control. The role also collaborates with engineers, operations staff, and IT professionals to understand requirements and develop solutions. The stated pay rate is $75,000 to $80,000.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in programming or a related field.
Experience with Power BI/Power Platform, Delphi, SQL, and Git.
Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement user-friendly Power BI reports for senior management.
Write efficient, maintainable, well-documented code that meets established standards and guidelines.
Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues.
Develop robust and scalable software applications tailored to foundry operations.
Manage and optimize SQL databases to support data integrity, reliability, and efficient retrieval.
Implement and maintain version control using Git.
Collaborate with engineers, operations staff, and IT professionals to understand requirements and develop solutions.
