The Electrical Apprentice supports maintenance electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. This entry-level role provides hands-on training while the apprentice learns trade skills, safety standards, and electrical codes under supervision. After completion of 480 probationary hours, the apprentice becomes a bargaining unit employee and is subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, including its provisions for wages, benefits, and seniority accrual. External apprentices who complete the Company’s apprenticeship program, including all required training, testing, and qualification requirements, are automatically placed into the Electrician B job classification without posting or bidding, provided all program requirements are met.
