About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing current business operating systems and applications. The programmer will work with team members to develop and integrate business, production, and/or product applications/systems. The role involves developing, testing, documenting, implementing, and supporting computer programming to automate repetitive business or production-related tasks. This includes inputting information from processes, outputting analysis of information, and interfacing heterogeneous business systems to act as a unified solution, potentially involving both front-end and back-end implementations. The programmer will also assist other staff with the operation and maintenance of business information systems and electronic production and manufacturing systems, including CNC or robotic manufacturing machines. Support or assistance may also be provided for the development, documentation, implementation, or support of manufactured electronic systems (product).

Requirements

  • Ability to climb stairs and fire trucks

  • Sitting, standing and walking for the majority of the shift.
  • Use of feet, hands, and fingers for over 60 minutes at a time.
  • Use of knees, legs, back, shoulders, and arms can vary from 15 minutes to 60 minutes.
  • Reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling to complete job tasks.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus, and good depth perception.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in C, C++, C#, SQL, HTML, CANopen protocol, relational databases, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, PowerShell, MAS 500, SolidWorks PDM, DriveWorks, CoDeSys, ADO.NET, Razor, and Blazor.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • General business operation experience including knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems, PDM (Product Data Management) systems, product configuration systems, etc.
  • Basic electrical/electronic theory.

Responsibilities
