About The Position
This role requires extensive experience in Mainframe programming, specifically with MVS COBOL, JCL, and IDMS/Network. The programmer will be responsible for developing and maintaining mainframe applications, processing claims data, and utilizing various mainframe tools and technologies. The contractor must provide their own equipment, but access to a virtual desktop environment will be provided.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with Mainframe
- 10+ years of experience with MVS COBOL
- 10+ years of experience with JCL
- 10+ years of experience with IDMS/Network
- 7+ years of experience with CA-ADS
- 5+ years of experience with Changeman
- 5+ years of experience with CICS
- 5+ years of experience with VSAM
- Must have own equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.)

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mainframe applications using MVS COBOL, JCL, and IDMS/Network.
- Process Medicaid or Medicare claims.
- Utilize CA-ADS for application development.
- Manage code changes using Changeman.
- Work with CICS and VSAM for data management.
- Utilize File-Aid for data manipulation.
- Potentially work with MQ, Endevor, Xpeditor, and SAS.
