About The Position

This role requires extensive experience with MS SQL Server, security regulations, and change management. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing user access and ensuring compliance with various standards. The contractor must provide their own equipment, but access to a virtual desktop will be provided.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with MS SQL Server 2019–2025 with clustering
• 6+ years of experience in projects involving STIG, PCI, and NIST regulations, implementations, and/or audits
• 6+ years of experience with Change Management
• 6+ years of experience with user access permissions and role-based access
• Experience with Local Area Network (LAN) Virtual LAN (VLAN)
• Experience with Windows Server 2019 / 2022 / 2025

Nice To Haves

• Experience in projects involving Pub1075 and STIG regulations, implementations, and/or audits
• Experience with Quest Spotlight
• Experience with Quest LiteSpeed
• Experience with Hybrid Cloud Architecture
• Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure
• Experience with Shell Scripting / JSON
• Experience with VMware

Responsibilities

• Manage MS SQL Server 2019–2025 with clustering.
• Implement and/or audit STIG, PCI, and NIST regulations.
• Oversee Change Management processes.
• Manage user access permissions and role-based access.
• Utilize Local Area Network (LAN) and Virtual LAN (VLAN) concepts.
• Work with Windows Server 2019 / 2022 / 2025.
