The African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF) is seeking a highly motivated Programme Assistant - Resourcing (Bilingual) for a short-term consultancy. This role is ideal for someone passionate about women's rights in Africa, excited about African feminisms, and embracing African gender diversity. AWDF is a Pan-African feminist fund that resources, strengthens, and upholds women’s rights and feminist organizations and movements across Africa. With a history of awarding approximately USD100 million to women's rights organizations, AWDF launched Lemlem, a ten-year strategic framework (2023-2033), to advance gender equality and justice for girls, women, and gender-diverse people. The Programme Assistant will provide crucial administrative and programmatic support to the efficient operation of AWDF’s resourcing work, collaborating closely with Programmes units, particularly the Resourcing Unit, to support grant-making processes, partner engagement, and compliance. This role will also support learning, monitoring, and evaluation processes to inform grant-making approaches and facilitate adaptation. Key functions include budgeting/financial support, data gathering, program administration, and implementing resourcing/grant-making guidelines.
