About The Position

The Program Support Specialist will coordinate course scheduling and instructor assignments for BSW and MSW programs, ensuring efficient operations and faculty coverage. This role involves overseeing adjunct faculty onboarding, training, and performance tracking, as well as managing Canvas course shells and maintaining the Adjunct Canvas Course for ongoing faculty support. The specialist will also support student processes, collaborate on accreditation tasks, maintain program materials, manage CEU offerings, facilitate communication, serve as a liaison, and provide administrative support for program directors and departmental operations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in coordinating course scheduling and instructor assignments.
  • Experience in managing adjunct faculty onboarding, training, and performance tracking.
  • Skill in managing learning management systems like Canvas, including course shell preparation.
  • Ability to support student processes such as progress tracking, appeals, and licensure applications.
  • Experience collaborating on accreditation tasks, data analysis, and outcome tracking.
  • Proficiency in maintaining and updating program materials and website content.
  • Experience managing logistics for continuing education units (CEUs).
  • Strong communication skills for responding to inquiries from diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between various departments and external partners.
  • Experience providing administrative support to leadership and departmental operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate course scheduling and instructor assignments for BSW and MSW programs, ensuring efficient operations and faculty coverage.
  • Oversee adjunct faculty onboarding, training, and performance tracking, including grading timelines and feedback quality.
  • Manage Canvas course shell preparation and maintain the Adjunct Canvas Course for ongoing faculty support.
  • Support student processes, including tracking student progress, probationary students, managing appeals, and coordinating licensure application forms.
  • Collaborate with the Assessment Coordinator on accreditation tasks, including data analysis and program outcome tracking.
  • Maintain and update program materials, including the School of Social Work Knowledge Base, Handbook, and website content.
  • Manage logistics for CEU offerings, including attendance tracking, certificate distribution, and registration coordination.
  • Facilitate communication by responding to inquiries from students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between the School of Social Work, university departments, and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide administrative support for program directors and departmental operations, enabling leadership focus on strategic priorities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
