About The Position

The Program Supervisor will work closely with the Program Director to lead and support the Supportive Housing outreach team. The role will focus on empowering program participants to achieve independence and integrate into the community. By employing a strength-based approach, this will guide staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and mentorship to succeed. Key responsibilities include supervising service delivery, monitoring staff performance, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and access to a reliable transportation
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organization, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of program participants
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old and high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee program services such as assessments, treatment plans, crisis interventions, and implementation strategies
  • Ensure all participant files, case notes, reports, and medication records are accurate, complete, and comply with organizational procedures
  • Prepare progress reports and maintain HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) documentation
  • Ensure timely submissions of required reports and oversee program-related financial transactions
  • Directly supervise 5-10 staff members, explaining, and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Provide training, support professional development, evaluate performance, and address personnel issues as needed
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to minimize overtime while meeting contractual requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and nursing staff to address participants' physical and behavioral health needs.
  • Conduct regular, documented supervisions and facilitate effective team meetings.
  • Lead effective team meetings to ensure collaboration and goal alignment
  • Partner with MHA Housing Specialist to support participant moves, including the completion of move-in checklists
  • Represent the program in community- based provider meetings relevant to supportive housing
  • Attend all required training sessions within the designated orientation period and as mandated thereafter
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director or other supervisors
