About The Position

The Program Supervisor will provide leadership and supervision to partially licensed and non-licensed therapists (MA/LSW/AMFT/LPC) within the clinic's program. This role involves maintaining direct oversight of Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) initiatives and performance metrics. The supervisor will support Program Therapists who run IOP/PHP groups and also provide 1:1 therapy as primary therapists to assigned participants. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, leading manualized DBT/CBT skills-based groups, providing individual, family, and group therapeutic services, documenting in the EHR (AdvancedMD), collaborating with the treatment team, and evaluating therapy intervention effectiveness. The role also involves offering psychoeducation to clients and their families.

Requirements

  • Must be fully licensed to practice independently in the state of Illinois with one of the following licensures: LCSW/LCPC/LMFT or PsyD.
  • Must possess 2+ years of experience supervising or leading pre-licensed Therapists (Masters level and Partially Licensed).
  • Experience in group, family, and individual therapy.
  • Experience working with an array of populations and diagnoses, including co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to partially licensed and non-licensed program therapists.
  • Maintain direct oversight of IOP/PHP program initiatives and performance metrics.
  • Support Program Therapists running IOP/PHP groups and providing 1:1 therapy.
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine mental health needs and interventions.
  • Establish therapy treatment goals for clients entering the IOP.
  • Provide experience and training leading manualized DBT/CBT skills-based groups.
  • Work directly with patients and families to ensure active and collaborative care from initiation to discharge.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapeutic services using evidence-based modalities.
  • Document all necessary information in the EHR platform (AdvancedMD).
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure quality client care.
  • Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
  • Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families.
