About The Position

Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida Tennessee and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. As Program Supervisor, you will be responsible for daily operations, oversight and performance of the youth residential programs for which you lead. A typical day as a Program Supervisor will include prioritizing tasks for the youth care specialists you lead, proactively communicating and removing obstacles so your team can provide the best care for the youth in their programs. You will serve as liaison with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring 100% compliance for the programs you lead. This position may require travel to various residential facilities within the Nashville area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in the health & human services field
  • Exposure to leadership/management experiences either through short term project management, coordination, training or actual leadership positions required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with residential youth programs or related field
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) you lead
  • Must pass a drug screening test
  • Must pass an extensive background check
