The Family Education & Resource Center (FERC) is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead a dedicated team supporting families and caregivers of loved ones living with mental health conditions. This role involves inspiring staff, building community partnerships, improving service quality, and shaping innovative family-centered programs across Alameda County. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with lived experience, a passion for community impact, and a commitment to equity and recovery. FERC is a family-centered program that provides free advocacy, support, and education to family caregivers of a loved one living with a mental health condition. We support and advocate for the family's wellbeing, assuring they are not alone in their caregiving experience. We serve families from all regions of Alameda County and our office is located in Oakland. What makes FERC unique is that all staff members care for a loved one with a mental health condition or Serious Mental Illness (SMI). FERC programmatic components include: a warmline; mental health education, training, and support for family/caregivers; three resource centers; a reentry program; assistance with AB 1424 Historical Information forms; support for the development of family leadership; and collaboration with other Mental Health Service providers.
