About The Position

Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services is seeking a passionate Program Supervisor for their children's IDD/Autism residential treatment team. This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities, providing supervision to direct care staff, monitoring daily operations, and ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and professional standards. The Program Supervisor will also offer crisis prevention and intervention support, guidance, and feedback to direct reports, and participate in the orientation and ongoing training of new employees. The program serves boys and girls, ages 6 to 21, with intellectual and developmental disabilities and significant behavioral challenges, focusing on skill development, positive behavioral change, communication, and self-care. Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) offers a range of services including psychiatric residential treatment, acute inpatient psychiatric hospital, assessment services, community-based mental health services, employment training, social skills training, and educational services. A core philosophy is Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS) to create safe and supportive environments. Devereux is a large, non-profit organization dedicated to behavioral healthcare, impacting over 10,000 individuals and families annually through its clinical, therapeutic, educational, and employment programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, heath, recreation, criminal justice, counseling; and a minimum of two years direct care experience.
  • OR 60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline (as described above); and three years direct care experience.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well being of children in our care
  • Provide supervision to direct care staff and monitor the daily operation of assigned program
  • Ensure all regulatory guidelines and professional standards are followed
  • Provide crisis prevention and intervention support, guidance, and feedback to direct reports
  • Participate in the orientation of new employees and provides ongoing employee training

Benefits

  • Compensation: $22.50 /hr - $25.65 /hr (based on experience)
