Provides direct service to clients, assisting with training in skills of daily living. The Program Specialist will teach clients skills for maintaining personal hygiene, laundry, and apartment cleaning, as well as budgeting, shopping, meal planning, preparation, and clean-up. This role also involves monitoring apartments for safety and cleanliness, administering cooking safety tests, and teaching/monitoring self-administration of medication. The specialist will document services, client progress, and report incidents or behavioral changes to the supervisor. Additionally, they will teach travel skills, escort clients as needed, and attend training sessions.
