Pediatric Specialty Care (PSC) is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Program Specialist to ensure that individuals receive well-planned, personalized care that meets required standards. By helping develop IHP/ISP plans and coordinating with case management, the Program Specialist supports consistent, organized services while making sure everything follows facility policies and legal regulations. Ultimately, this helps protect the quality of care and ensures that clients’ needs are properly addressed. Requirements

• Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience working in a long term care or hospital setting
• Experience with pediatric population
• Must be 21 years or older
• Excellent computer skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to multitask
• Friendly and professional
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in ensuring safety of ambulatory/mobile residents by offering activities
• Work with interdisciplinary team to identify behavioral/health and safety concerns
• Assist in developing Health and Safety/Behavior Support Plans
• Responsible for compiling information for monthly and quarterly documentation
• Learn the IHP/ISP Timeline over the course of 6 to 12 months
• Develop and train staff on behavioral/health and safety plans
