About The Position

ViaQuest Day & Employment Services is hiring a Program Specialist to support individuals with developmental disabilities in its Day Program. The position includes transporting individuals between their homes and the Day Program, assisting with community outings, and providing direct care and support. The role focuses on fostering individuals’ independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring their health and safety. Full training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds and climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals between their homes and the Day Program using a company passenger van.
• Participate in community outings by providing transportation and assistance to individuals served.
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Foster individuals’ independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring their health and safety needs are met.
