The Program Specialist works under the direction of the Director of Volunteer Engagement and Child Health Resources to implement, coordinate, and evaluate programs within the Family Resource Center. This role supports health education, injury prevention, and family resource initiatives through direct engagement with patients, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners. Responsibilities include program administration, visitor education, inventory management, data management, and continuous quality improvement activities. The Program Specialist maintains current knowledge of evidence-based practices and supports the mission of improving child and family safety, wellness, and access to resources. Coordinates health education programs and training of community partners. Maintains resources for projects, team development, team meetings coordination, data entry and analysis. Also maintains up-to-date knowledge of advances and understanding of injury-related risks and protective factors.
