About The Position
Serves as a teacher leader in specialized instruction and case management for students with disabilities. The program specialist facilitates professional development related to the school and district’s instruction and curriculum goals aligned with demonstrated instructional/professional needs. As a leader and specialist, the employee supports teachers and support staff in identifying, developing, and implementing curriculum, assessment, and instructional strategies designed to improve the learning of students with disabilities. Collaborate with administrators and teachers to collect and analyze data, interpret, and use it to guide instructional decisions.
