About The Position

The Program Specialist Pickleball is responsible for teaching and leading pickleball classes, lessons, and clinics for individuals or groups of various skill levels. This role involves developing engaging instructional programs, promoting the game of pickleball, and ensuring that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience. Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in planning, organizing, and implementing sports programs, preferably in an adult sports or recreation setting.
Experience in program administration, including participant registration, event coordination, and resource management.
Knowledge of adult sports programming, rules, and regulations for various sports.
Understanding safety protocols, injury prevention, and risk management in sports programs.
Knowledge of group dynamics and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

Design, organize, and deliver pickleball lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.
Teach proper techniques for serving, rallying, and scoring, as well as effective strategies for doubles and singles play.
Tailor lessons to participants' skill levels, offering progressions and adjustments as needed.
Demonstrate various drills, movements, and techniques to improve player performance.
Ensure that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience.
