Dauphin County Mental Health/Autism/Developmental Programs is seeking a full-time Program Specialist 2, Provider Coordinator. This role involves program planning, analysis, and monitoring, with a focus on coordinating community Autism/Developmental Programs (A/DP) services. The position oversees provider operations within the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), including new provider development, performance monitoring, risk management, variance review, and residential provider oversight. A key responsibility is ensuring compliance, quality service delivery, and continuous improvement in ODP-funded services. This position is crucial for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of citizens receiving support services through the ID/A programs. The role also assists with Early Intervention (EI) Program Specialist onboarding and ongoing monitoring of staff qualifications according to OCDEL EI regulations and Dauphin County policies. The position requires excellent communication skills (written and oral), basic computer technology knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel), and involves some travel within the county and occasionally to other parts of the state for services and meetings. Occasional evening meetings are also required. The position is located in the MH/A/DP Administrator’s Office.
