The Program Service Specialist will provide high-quality case management services for agency clients. This role involves applying and enforcing agency policies and procedures, ensuring clear communication among staff, and establishing professional relationships with clients. The specialist will work with clients to identify needs, goals, barriers, and employment opportunities, while measuring progress and success. Key responsibilities include administering assessments, developing Individual Employment Plans (IEPs), securing necessary services, and maintaining client confidentiality. The role also involves implementing and monitoring workforce investment activities, ensuring programs meet objectives, and engaging in continuous improvement and quality assurance. Maintaining contact with community partners, facilitating client placement in suitable employment, and adhering to legal and ethical standards are crucial. The specialist will also prepare and review documents, identify and contract with education and training providers, develop a resource center, analyze labor market trends, and conduct follow-up activities. Effective communication with supervisors and the administrative office, timely completion of reports, and representing the agency in the community are also key aspects of this position.
