About The Position

Intra Management Solutions (IMS) is seeking an experienced Program Scheduler to work onsite in Northern New Jersey supporting a leading aerospace and defense manufacturing client. The role requires strong scheduling expertise in complex production environments and collaboration across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management teams. The scheduler will proactively identify schedule risks, develop recovery plans, and drive continuous process improvements.

The position supports program planning from initiation through production and final delivery. It involves developing and maintaining integrated program and production schedules, establishing schedule baselines, analyzing schedule performance, and communicating forecasts and impacts to program leadership and customers. Scheduling tools include Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management tools, and Advanced Planning & Scheduling systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in program scheduling, manufacturing scheduling, production planning, or project scheduling in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Experience using Microsoft Project.
• Experience performing Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated project or production schedules.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including analyzing schedule data and generating reports.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible scheduling experience supporting complex aerospace or defense programs.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community programs.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP/MRP systems, or Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) software.
• Experience supporting complex or low-rate aerospace manufacturing environments.
• Professional certifications such as AACE, PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules supporting the full program lifecycle.
• Create and maintain executable program and production schedules aligned with customer requirements, manufacturing capacity, material availability, and program milestones.
• Establish and maintain schedule baselines and ensure schedule integrity during program execution.
• Support planning activities from program initiation through production and final delivery.
• Lead planning sessions and schedule reviews with cross-functional program teams.
• Perform schedule trend, variance, critical path, and impact analyses.
• Identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities; develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Generate schedule metrics, reports, dashboards, and status updates for program leadership and customers.
• Communicate schedule performance, forecast completion dates, and program impacts to key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules using Microsoft Project Professional, EPM tools, and APS systems.
