In this role, you will lead and support dynamic activities on a fast-paced commercial engine program. Activities will engage Customers, internal organizations, and internal and external producers driven to high levels of Quality performance related to product development, certification, production and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical, business or Quality field or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience in Engineering/Technical/Quality Positions.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support, leadership, and direction with emphasis on team building amongst the Module Centers, P&W Suppliers and Partners.
  • Communicate effectively and possess strong tactical leadership and business acumen.
  • Excel at forward thinking while driving activities and projects forward in a customer focused manner; thus meeting the demands of P&W customers.
  • Become a member of the cross-functional Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) and an integral part of the Integrated Program Deployment (IPD) process.
  • Drive program quality activities by coordinating with CIPTs, Module Centers, Supplier Quality, and Engine Centers.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Airframe Customer for all quality issues.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the P&W engine, from part production, engine assembly, and aftermarket.
  • Lead activities to drive the program’s quality, fleet management and engine performance goals.
  • Utilize APQP and PPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, process flow, control plans, etc.) to identify risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
