About The Position

The Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Senior Program/Project Manager who will direct personnel actions, brief technical managers and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on program financial health, and is directly responsible for overall program success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering, Physical Science, Business, or Financial Management).
• Candidates with a degree in another discipline must have at least 5 years of experience serving aboard a surface combatant vessel in addition to the degree.
• 20 years of experience in engineering management, including at least 5 years of naval shipbuilding or overhaul experience.
• Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all program tasking and CDRL submissions.
• Hire and manage personnel actions for the program team.
• Attend monthly meetings and bi-annual program reviews.
• Brief technical managers and the COR on the program's financial health.
• Directly manage the Lead Financial Manager, Logistics Manager, and Senior Engineer.
• Respond to COR requests in a timely manner to ensure accurate COR reporting.
