About The Position

This position is awaiting contract award. We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Program / Project / Management Analyst to join our team supporting the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Norfolk, VA. In this mid-level role, you will apply structured analytic techniques to evaluate program objectives, track integrated master schedules, and monitor budget execution. You will play a central role in organizing multi-faceted acquisition datasets and ensuring that all documentation and change control management practices align with established government processes.

Requirements

Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance to access the airfield and military installation.
Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution.
3 to 10 years of direct experience in program analysis, project tracking, or defense acquisition management performing the functional duties described above.
Familiarity with NAVAIR program office environments, defense acquisition pathways, and standard milestone review processes.
Proficiency with project management tools (such as MS Project and advanced Excel), strong technical drafting capabilities, and sharp analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Apply quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques to evaluate program objectives, tracking milestones, critical path schedules, and project statuses.
Analyze conflicting program requirements, operational status updates, budget execution data, and project schedules to identify performance risks.
Perform management, technical, or business case analyses to support decision-making, trade-off studies, and operational alternatives.
Collect, complete, organize, and interpret complex data streams relating to aircraft, weapons systems, and product acquisition programs.
Apply government-instituted processes for official documentation control, configuration change management, and secure data management lifecycle procedures.
