About The Position

Venture Dynamics is seeking an experienced Program Production Support Specialist to support Navy and commercial ship repair operations in Norfolk, Virginia. This position provides administrative, production, and program support to waterfront operations by managing reports, tracking contract requirements, coordinating documentation, and supporting project execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced shipyard environment. Assignments are project-based and may continue based on performance and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; OR Associate's degree with at least one year of related experience; OR three years of directly related experience.
  • Experience supporting production, project coordination, administration, or program operations in an industrial or shipyard environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with Government personnel, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive records, databases, and documentation with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC and/or DBIDS credential.
  • Ability to supervise assigned tasks, train personnel, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience supporting Navy ship repair or maritime production operations.
  • Knowledge of NASSCO policies, procedures, and Government reporting requirements.
  • Experience preparing professional reports and presentations.
  • CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.
  • Experience working with production scheduling, project controls, or contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and production support for multiple ship repair programs and contracts.
  • Review, verify, and submit Government condition reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Maintain and update production logs, databases, spreadsheets, and tracking reports.
  • Assist with the development of project schedules, production charts, and contract documentation.
  • Coordinate vehicle passes, badges, property control forms, camera passes, laptop passes, and other required access documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between Programs, Production, Government representatives, contractors, and internal departments.
  • Assist with condition report development, project documentation, and specialized contract-related activities.
  • Support meetings, training events, travel arrangements, conferences, and other departmental activities while maintaining organized project records.
