About The Position

The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences within the UW School of Medicine currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Operations Specialist to join their team. Reporting to Athena Wong, the Program Operations Specialist is responsible for advancing organizational priorities by delivering high-quality, strategic and operational support within its functional area. It drives impact by translating goals into actionable plans, fostering collaboration across stakeholders, and ensuring effective execution. Through its work, the role contributes to improved outcomes, enhanced efficiency, and sustained organizational success. This position is hybrid eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Health-related discipline or related field, AND a minimum of three years of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to align efforts, facilitate communication, and support shared objectives.
  • Monitor program performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to assess outcomes and inform decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, develop standardized processes, and maintain clear documentation of workflows and procedures.
  • Assist in translating organizational priorities into actionable plans and support long-term planning efforts.
  • Prepare presentations, updates, and materials to communicate program status and key initiatives.
  • Ensure programs adhere to policies, standards, and quality expectations while mitigating risks.
