About The Position

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences within the UW School of Medicine is seeking a Program Operations Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for advancing organizational priorities by delivering high-quality, strategic, and operational support. The specialist will translate goals into actionable plans, foster collaboration, and ensure effective execution, contributing to improved outcomes, enhanced efficiency, and sustained organizational success. This position is hybrid eligible.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Health-related discipline or related field, AND a minimum of three years of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned programs and projects, including defining scope, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables are completed successfully.
Oversee day-to-day operations of programs, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to established processes and priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to align efforts, facilitate communication, and support shared objectives.
Monitor program performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to assess outcomes and inform decision-making.
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, develop standardized processes, and maintain clear documentation of workflows and procedures.
Assist in translating organizational priorities into actionable plans and support long-term planning efforts.
Prepare presentations, updates, and materials to communicate program status and key initiatives.
Ensure programs adhere to policies, standards, and quality expectations while mitigating risks.
