Raytheon has an immediate need for a Program Operations Manager (POM) supporting the Global Patriot Product Line within the Land and Air Defense Strategic Business Unit in Andover, MA. The individual will be responsible for manufacturing alignment across a Value Stream. Day to day includes, but is not limited to, schedule alignment for both MEI’s and Spares, Core Control Room accountability, and partnering with cross-functional teams/partners to drive results. This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around Andover factory areas. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in technical, program and manufacturing leadership roles. Duties also include but are not limited to primary interface across an operation value stream, lead Operations role for implementing engineering change orders and presenting reports to the Customer and Directors representing his/her IPT team and operations performance. This role will also be responsible for the material position and action resolution necessary to deliver end items on time. This opportunity will provide senior level exposure, the ability to work independently while at the same time, requiring exceptional collaboration skills to enable strong results.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, including but not limited to SAP, Kinaxis, PRISM/CMES.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of manufacturing tool sets and how to leverage information from material receipt through DD250 within a defense contracting organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and breakdown barriers.
  • Previous manufacturing process experience.
  • EVMS L2 Certification or ability to learn.
  • Thorough organization and communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the coordination and execution of program schedules with Global Supply Chain Management, Subcontracts, Engineering, and other functional areas.
  • Support efforts to establish and coordinate all actions that are in place to support our customer commitments.
  • Coordinate Drive and mitigate accountability across our business teams and escalate across cross-functional teams.
  • Complete Estimate at Completion (EAC’s).
