About The Position

The Program Operations Manager leads operational execution and integration across program stakeholders to achieve quality, cost, schedule, and production performance objectives. The role serves as the primary Operations interface to Program Management, bringing together inputs from factory operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and other functions into consolidated execution plans. The manager leads strategic Operations planning for development and production programs, including identifying risks, constraints, resource needs, and opportunities to improve execution. The role establishes operational priorities and schedules for Make assemblies and aligns Buy material requirements with production needs. It also leads Operations planning for the transition of development programs into production, covering manufacturing readiness, capacity, capital, materials, tooling, and resources. It supports capital planning, affordability, cost reduction, and constraint management; coordinates Operations requirements and strategies for program gate reviews; and serves as the Operations point of contact for proposals, estimates, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs). The manager presents Operations performance, risks, recovery plans, and decision needs at monthly management and other program or leadership reviews. The role also supports Operational Security (OPSEC) requirements and works with stakeholders on future program security strategies.
