Program Manager
About The Position
The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Program Manager for their DMHAS program, located in Chicopee, MA. The Program Manager will provide clinical and residential and outreach management training and supervision to staff who work in support services for clients in need of psychiatric services. CHD provides a broad range of high quality, community-oriented human services dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and protecting the dignity and welfare of people in need. Requirements
- 3 years of experience in mental health treatment and or human service-related field with a focus on 24-hour residential treatment
- 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, counseling, or related field with an emphasis on mental health treatment is required
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for work purposes
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in a mental health field preferred
Responsibilities
- Program policy and procedure implementation and oversight of all residential responsibilities.
- Monitoring the operations of the home including compliance with licensing and accrediting organizations program treatment implementation.
- Supervision of direct support professionals.
- Support staff with training of person-centered plans.
- Oversight of program administrative processes.
- Hiring, training, and overall management of the home.
