About The Position

Acquisition Professionals (AP) LLC is seeking a Program Manager to successfully integrate and coordinate all activity needed to execute requirements. This role involves managing the timeliness, completeness, and quality of problem identification, providing corrective action plans, proposal submittals, timely identification of issues, and effective management of subcontractors. The goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold professional and ethical behavior among all contractor personnel.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in managing events and conferences
  • 5 years of experience in managing a team
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to perform administrative duties such as reviewing quality documents, reports and slides and coordinating briefings, conferences, teleconferences, telephone inquiries, meeting preparation, attendance and minutes
  • Must have Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or experience in preparing, editing and finalizing correspondence, documents and briefings
  • Ability to manage time and events effectively

Responsibilities

  • Managing and providing logistical and conference planning support for meetings and events through oversight of the Staff.
  • Managing and ensuring the staff is responsible for taking notes, preparing meeting materials (name badges, table tents), assembling binders, preparing posters, compiling CDs or other electronic media concerning meeting materials for attendees, locating and providing a meeting room as well as facilitating satisfaction surveys after the meeting, setting up a link for event registration, coordinating hotel arrangements and/or travel required for the meetings.
