About The Position

ViaQuest Residential Services provides quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. The Program Manager coordinates services and supports for the individuals served, helps ensure they receive quality care and remain engaged with their communities, and supervises Direct Support Professionals. The position requires on-call availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and three years of experience in developmental disabilities, or a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent decision-making and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals served receive quality services and are engaged with the community.
• Coordinate and manage services and supports, including medical appointments, household management, behavior management, financial services, and benefits.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Assist in developing behavior support strategies, ensure they are implemented, train staff on them, and assess their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with members of each individual's service team to support communication and customer service.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure they are thoroughly trained and provide high-quality services.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services and shift coverage are in place.
• Provide customer service to individuals served, families and guardians, the county board, and service-team members.
